Do:

  • ✅ Wait for full analysis to load
  • ✅ Refresh old cached data (> 24h)
  • ✅ Check multiple indicators, not just risk score
  • ✅ Consider wallet age and history
  • ✅ Review actual transactions, not just stats

Don’t:

  • ❌ Rely solely on risk score for decisions
  • ❌ Trust very new wallets (< 7 days)
  • ❌ Ignore red flags even with low risk score
  • ❌ Skip due diligence on large transactions

For Faster Analysis:

  1. Enable caching in settings
  2. Bookmark frequently checked wallets
  3. Use prefetch for monitored addresses
  4. Clear old cache periodically

Reduce Resource Usage:

  1. Disable auto-detection on heavy pages
  2. Limit number of monitors (< 5 active)
  3. Set longer cache durations
  4. Pause monitors when not needed

Protect Yourself:

  1. Never share your API keys in screenshots
  2. Don’t trust addresses in phishing emails
  3. Verify before transacting - always double check
  4. Use privacy mode for sensitive research
  5. Keep extension updated to latest version

Warning Signs:

🚨 Be extra cautious if:
• Very new wallet asking for funds
• High risk score with no explanation
• Wallet associated with known scams
• Unusual patterns (all same-size txs)
• Mixer/tumbler usage detected
• Claims from untrusted sources

Problem: Addresses on page not highlighted

Solutions:

  1. Check if auto-detection is enabled:
    • Settings → Detection → Auto-detect = ON
  2. Refresh the page
  3. Ensure address format is valid (32-44 chars)
  4. Check if site is whitelisted
  5. Try manual entry via extension popup

Problem: Extension taking long to analyze

Solutions:

  1. Clear cache: Settings → Performance → Clear Cache
  2. Reduce cache size if using all 100MB
  3. Close other extensions temporarily
  4. Check internet connection
  5. Disable prefetch if on slow connection

Problem: Not receiving alerts

Solutions:

  1. Check Chrome notification permissions:
    • chrome://settings/content/notifications
  2. Verify extension has permission:
    • chrome://extensions/ → SAT → Permissions
  3. Check Do Not Disturb times
  4. Ensure monitors are active (not paused)
  5. Test with a quick manual analysis

Problem: Can’t stay logged in

Solutions:

  1. Check if cookies are enabled for michamp.com
  2. Disable other ad blockers temporarily
  3. Clear extension storage and re-login:
    • chrome://extensions/ → SAT → Clear data
  4. Try logging out and back in to dashboard first
  5. Reinstall extension if persists

Problem: Bookmarks/history not syncing

Solutions:

  1. Ensure sync is enabled: Settings → Privacy → Sync = ON
  2. Check Chrome sync status: chrome://settings/syncSetup
  3. Manually trigger sync: Settings → Sync Now
  4. Verify account connection
  5. Export and re-import data if needed
